The Thing We All Want More Of...
There was never a "perfect time" for me to go to graduate school while working and raising four kids—I had to make the time. The same has been true for everything meaningful in my life. Whether it was investing in my personal growth, building deeper relationships, or prioritizing my health, it always required effort, energy, and intention. But here’s the thing: the time and energy I’ve poured into these areas have paid off massively over time. Not overnight, but little by little, life has filled out in ways I truly want—more connection, more joy, more alignment.
And here’s the fun part: when we invest in our social and emotional development, we actually gain back time in the long run. Why? Because we become more self-aware and self-managed. We stop wasting time on overthinking, people-pleasing, or getting stuck in unhelpful patterns. We navigate challenges with more ease, communicate more clearly, and move through life with a stronger sense of direction. The very thing we say we don’t have enough of—time—might be something we create more of by investing in ourselves.
That’s exactly why I created Where To Begin, my online membership designed to help people build the foundational skills that lead to more freedom—more time, more mental space, more energy for what actually matters. Because when we do the work upfront, everything else starts to flow. So, what’s something you say you don’t have time for but know, deep down, is worth the investment?
